VietNamNet Bridge - Elizabeth Bich Lien Vo, the Miss Asia in the United State of America in 2006, visited Vietnam and presented 4 houses of compassion to 4 poor families in Phu Quoc and did other charitable activities on November 9-10.
This beauty’s native place is in Phu Quoc, Kien Giang province. She now lives in North California.
At this time returning Vietnam, Elizabeth Bich Lien Vo supported the building of a 40 million VND bridge linking two remoted communes in Tan Thuan. Besides, she granted 10,000 USD to restore and fix the temple worshipping Hero Nguyen Trung Truc and shrine of Sam mountain’s Landlady.
Apart from above activities, she donated another 10,000 USD to build 2 class-rooms in Phu Quoc district. As many as 200 poor patients in Hon Dat district, who are suffering from cataracts, were also given eye-operation assistance.
